The NFL playoffs begin this weekend with some intriguing match ups, but the talk of the NFL is centered around teams that are done playing. Seven coaches were fired on NFL’s “Black Monday.” However, the coaching carousel stopped today for Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs. Reid reached an agreement with the Chiefs that is expected to be finalized on Friday.

Lovie Smith: Fired by Chicago Bears

Chan Gailey: Fired by Buffallo Bills

Ken Wisenhunt: Fired by Arizona Cardinals

Andy Reid: Fired by Philadelphia Eagles

Romeo Crennel: Fired by Kansas City Chiefs

Pat Shurmur: Cleveland Browns

Latest NFL Coaching News/Rumors:

– Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien stated that he is staying as PSU’s head coach next season. The Browns, Cardinals, and ChargersĀ are all reportedly interested in O’Brien.

– According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Cleveland Browns interviewed Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone on Thursday.

– Former Cardinals head coach Ken Wisenhunt interviwed with the Browns on Wednesday. Wisenhunt also interviewed with the Bills.

– Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and CEO Joe Banner interviewed Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton on Tuesday.

– The Browns will interview highly saught after Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly on Friday.

– Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley is considering an offer to interview for the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job.

– In addition to the Browns, Oregon’s head coach Chip Kelly has interviews scheduled with the Bills and Eagles.

– Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is a hot head coaching candidate. He has a busy Saturday scheduled with three interviews. McCoy is set to meet with the Bills, Cardinals, and the Eagles.
