Miami over Cleveland
Mike Wallace has a big debut for the Dolphins. He picks up 115 yards on seven catches and a touchdown. Brandon Weeden is ready for AARP and it isn’t long before he looses the starting job

New Orleans over Atlanta
The Saints are happy to have Sean Payton back. He and Drew Brees regain old form. It will be a shoot out and the Saints pull it out 34-31

Tampa Bay over New York Jets
Revis gets his revenge and picks off rookie QB Geno Smith twice, returning one for a score. Josh Freeman isn’t better on the other end but Doug Martin is the difference here

Pittsburgh over Tennessee
Jake Locker is not the future of the Titans and it shows. Roethlisberger is too much for Tennessee and the Steelers pull away in the second half

Detroit over Minnesota
The Vikings can’t stop Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush catches too many ball out of the backfield. Adrian Peterson gets his 100+ rushing yards but it’s not enough

Indianapolis over Oakland
Luck has weapons in Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton, Ahmad Bradshaw and Vick Ballard. Oakland has crazy fans. Advantage: Indy

Seattle over Carolina
Cam Newton is a special quarterback but Seattle is just too well rounded. Russell Wilson only puts up 170 yards but has three touchdowns

Kansas City over Jacksonville
Alex Smith manages the game and doesn’t commit the costly turnover. Maurice Jones-Drew runs all over the Chiefs but the Jags fall short

St. Louis over Arizona
Larry Fitzgerald is happy to have a solid quarterback but the cardinals run game is too suspect. Tavon Autsin is a special talent and the Rams pull out a close one

Green Bay over San Francisco
The Packers get their revenge for last season as Aaron Rodgers lights up the west coast. Expect four TDs and 300+ yards through the air

Dallas over New York Giants
Dallas is due to finally get a win at “Jerry’s World” over division foe New York. They finally do so tonight. Dez Bryant has a big game for the Cowboys with two touchdowns

Washington over Philadelphia
RGIII shows off his bionic knee and rushes for 75 yards. Mike Vick misses several plays in the third quarter with some sort of injury but returns just in time to throw a costly interception that is returned for a score

Houston over San Diego
Arian Foster keeps San Diego from doubling up on Andre Johnson. Philip Rivers has two interceptions and a fumble as the Texans get the opening night win on the road
