The NFL regular season has concluded, which means it’s time to go over Week 17’s #Studs and #Duds and crown our Stud and Dud winners for the 2012 season.

1. Alfred Morris (RB) Washington Redskins

The Redskins rookie running back had a monster week 17 performance when the team needed it the most. Morris rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns on his way to 39 points in standard leagues.

2. Adrian Peterson (RB) Minnesota Vikings

Peterson may have come up short of the single season rushing record, but his 199 yards rushing and two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) were good enough to put him on the #STUDS list once again.

3. Eli Manning (QB) New York Giants

Eli Manning conluded an up and down season with a #STUD performance. Manning’s five touchdowns and over 200 yards passing were enough to garner him #STUD status week 17.

4. DeAngelo Williams (RB) Carolina Panthers

Williams had his best game of the year with over 200 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns. Unfortunately, this was not a common performance for Williams this season.

5. Mike Tolbert (RB) Carolina Panthers

Yes, Mike Tolbert is a fantasy #STUD week 17. Most likely, not many fantasy owners were starting Tolbert, but he managed three rushing touchdowns on just 25 yards rushing. This is a perfect example of the power of a goal line running back.

Now that the regular season is over, we can crown a #STUD Champion for the 2012 fantasy season. And we have co-#STUD champions. Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson both ended the season with 5 #STUD performances each, making them dual champions.

1. Matt Schaub (QB) Houston Texans

What is happening to Matt Schaub? The last few weeks have been rough for Schaub and the Houston Texans. Schaub threw for 275 yards, but had zero touchdowns and two interceptions.

2. Jamaal Charles (RB) Kansas City Chiefs

Charles managed just 53 yards on 14 carries. He also was unable to get into the endzone.

3. Reggie Bush (RB) Miami Dolphins

Bush’s up and down season ended up burning fantasy owners week 17. There were weeks that Bush carried fantasy teams, but then there were games like Bush’s week 17 performance where he rushed for just 26 yards and didn’t find the end zone.

4. Brandon Marshall (WR) Chicago Bears

Brandon Marshall picked a bad week to have his worst fantasy performance of the season. Marshall caught five passes for 42 yards and did not have a touchdown catch.

5. Larry Fitzgerald (WR) Arizona Cardinals

Poor Larry Fitzgerald. He is still one of the best wide receivers in the game, but he is stuck with a disastrous quarterback situation in Arizona. Fitzgerald had just two catches for 13 yards week 17.

It hurts us to have to give the #DUDS Championship to Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, because he is so talented and his #DUDS performances were mostly because of the Arizona Cardinals quarterbacks. So, Larry Fitzgerald wins our #DUDS championship with 6 #DUDS performances, but we also must give the award to the Arizona Cardinals quarterbacks. Congratulations.
