Surgex Sports Fantasy Five: Week 11
Your five fantasy sleepers for week 11 are….
1. Sam Bradford (QB) St. Louis Rams
The New York Jets are reeling and Sam Bradford’s favorite target Danny Amendola is back on the field. The Rams are playing on their home turf, which also should give the young quarterback an advantage against the Jets defense. In Amendola’s first game back from injury last week, Bradford passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns. Expect a similar performance week eleven.
2. Marcel Reece (RB) Oakland Raiders
With Darren McFadden out again week eleven, Reece will once again see the majority of the carries. Reece had over 20 total touches last week and week 11 he faces a New Orleans Saints defense that is one of the worst in the league.
3. Jacquizz Rodgers (RB) Atlanta Falcons
It’s only a matter of time before Rodgers uses his athleticism to break open a big game. With Michael Turner looking more and more like an aging running back, we recommend you pick up Rodgers now before it’s too late.
4. Cincinnati Bengals Defense/Special Teams
If the Bengals were able to shut down Eli Manning and the Giants offense, they will have no problem curtailing the Kansas City Chiefs poor excuse for an offense. There is confusion in Kansas City as to whether Brady Quinn or Matt Cassel will start week 11. There should be no confusion for fantasy owners. No matter which quarterback starts for the Chiefs, they stink.
5. Donnie Avery (WR) Indianapolis Colts
Donnie Avery and T.Y. Hilton seem to be going back and forth in fantasy value. Avery still is getting plenty of targets and he has big play potential. Avery is still the Colts number two wide receiver and the Colts will likely find themselves in a shootout against the New England Patriots. Andrew Luck will be throwing plenty of passes week 11 and Avery is sure to be on the receiving end of a number of them.
